This song is from the Paul Thorn record "Mission Temple Fireworks Stand"

During the recording, Billy Mattox and the gang were looking for some

ideas for backup vocals. At that time, I was playing with a black gospel

band called "New Testament". I recommended 3 of the vocalists from

that band (who were personal friends of mine) to come in for a shot

at the backups. When they were finished, everyone's mouth hit the floor!

They nailed it!
